Ten years ago just having a website was a business benefit. Five years ago businesses began to understand the importance of having “traffic”: that is people being able to find your website and actually looking at it. Search Engine Optimisation and the other forms of traffic generation remain very important but they are increasingly expensive and simply paying to drive ever more traffic to a site can quickly become prohibitively costly.

The aim of this workshop is to introduce attendees to the concept and application of “Persuasion Architecture”: How to build a Website such that it converts the maximum possible number of visitors into customers.

If we compare physical Shops or Offices (“Bricks and Mortar”) with their Website equivalents (“Clicks and Mortar”) we quickly see the standard of professionalism on the Internet often falls well short of that which would be typical on the High Street.
